Racism issues race far ahead...

Target Corporation, the Minneapolis- based retail sales giant has been hogging the headlines for consenting to pay a whopping sum of $775,000 to settle an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) lawsuit accusing the company of discrimination and retaliation. The company is alleged to have condoned racially discriminatory practices and behaviour in its stores against African American employees, who were regularly subjected to racially charged innuendoes. The company failed to pay heed to complaints filed by the victims. And now, it has not only agreed to pay the compensatory amount but also directed to introduce race respecting norms within its precincts through education.
